What goes into setting up a radar run?

Do you need any special permits, or Dept of I.F.&W. official sanction. ETC. I have access to a radar gun and thought about setting up a run to be sponsored by my Club. Does anyone have any experience doing these?

our club has done it a few times. Need to contact IF&W,get insurance,need to get blueprints of a site layout that meets the states regulations.Fairly easy to do.Need plenty of volunteers to help.

Does the IF&W require some sort of permit, or just notification?

Insurance: How much does a policy cost? How much do they cover?

Blueprints? Would a simple sketch suffice, or do we have to have some elaberate "professional" blueprint?

Is there a website that has all these requirements listed?

Homer, piece of information if you guys decide to go ahead with this. I think that Mike Savage has some gear for this type of thing. Radar gun possibly, and he did have a Christmas tree start light back when Matt was racing, not positive though.
