selling the bike and hopefully buy a new sled this spring. Sounds like the deals will be great if the weather still sucks. Hope fully we get some of the white stuff soon!! Well about the bike, it's in mint shape, looks brand new has only 18,500 miles. I'm the second owner. Bike has new tires and runs great. Asking $1950/b.o.

Did you post a picture? All I see is the little white box with a red X in it. Maybe its my computer. Maybe if you've still got it by spring time i'd be interested. Right now isnt the best timing for me. Or maybe by then i'd be up for a partial trade on my sled (05 F7 EFI STD with Reverse, 380 miles). Send me a pic if you get a chance. J.Sholes@att.net

I've always liked those bikes. A friend of mine had a few of those exact bikes way back in the day and I was always pretty partial to them. Either way, if you've got it in the spring i'll be very interested in checking it out in person. Oh and I did recieve the pictures, damn that bike is mint!

I do still have it. But rumor has it that we may get an actual winter this coming season so I think im going to hang onto it. You havent had any luck getting rid of that bike yet?

I haven't really been trying to it was kinda spur of the moment when I did put it up for sale. I might keep it, not really sure. For the right price I'll sell it. I bought a new sled this season so I guess I should keep it. Anyways I got an 05 F7 and love it, you should keep yours they are nice sleds!!

Yeah I like the sled, it needs some fine tuning from stock configuration though. The dual carbides are the worst. I threw on some Shaper Bars. Mines the reverse model and I had to pull a shim out from between the secondary sheeves because the belt deflection was to much and I had bad belt slippage. It still needs the suspension to be dialed in. Maybe im just picky, or spoiled from having a sled with an M-10.

I'd like to dial my clutching in. I'm only getting like 94-95 for top end. It is a sno pro with the 1.375 track, everyone says thats my problem. I think next season I'll get an ODS clutch kit and see how she goes.

Yeah the Sno Pro's were known to be a little slow. Mines been run to 107 so far but I really havent killed it on a lake yet. Mine could used a clutch kit but it flys right now. I'd rather dial in the suspension.

I have to say the best thing about my sled is the suspension. Those fox shocks are sweet. The ride compared to my ZL is night and day! I'd be hurtin for a few days after riding, now with the firecat I want more miles!!

I wouldnt say mine rides rough, it rides decent just normal riding. When I really start hammering it in the rough stuff is where it lacks in comparison to my M-10. I could walk by most sleds in the rough with the M-10, I dont feel that confident on the Firecat. I need some real trail time, not a few miles here and there to dial it in.

Well, keep in touch and next season maybe you can come up to the county with me. I've ridden pretty much everywhere in maine and there's no better place to put serious miles on! A guy who works for me has a camp up there so it doesn't cost anything to stay up there just split gas and buy him a few drinks and your golden.

Alright i'll do that. I've been to the county a few times. Everytime i've gone it seemed like I drove through areas of mint snow conditions to get to Caribou. After that I just parked south, like Rimford or Greenville area then just saddlebagged up to Caribou. Made more sense to ride my sled up there rather than roll the miles on my tow equipement.

yeah I hear ya on the long ride. His camp is a good 5-6 hours from here but its worth it I think. I got a couple buddies on the south shore of mass. I brought them up the past 2 years and they loved it. This year wasn't too bad for snow but the past 3 or 4 you HAD to trailer that far to get some good riding. You gunna ride at all this season again? I'm thinking of jackman this coming weekend. Anyways we'll keep in touch and have fun this summer!

I think im done for this season. I've got to many projects started here at home to be able to take the time and get away. I wish I could but I dont see it happening. Usually with me, if the riding sucks by the end of January my mind has moved onto other things. I get fired up about October and if the season sucks right out of the gate then im onto other things for the remainder of the season. Only until I hear totally mint reports does my mind revert back to snowmobiling.
