Hey, Ive been on SF (banned) HCS and Freedom sledder.

I dont know much of you, flipped tynan off on the trail one time, he didnt notice, then I whipped it around, tailed Offshore Hard and Said Hello.

Im from the County, Ride a 00 XC 700, or A 340 Fanner, whichever I feel I need.

I love sledding, and I finally found a site where theres alot of Mainers that I might have the chance of meeting (never thought id meet anyone from an online forum).

Ill be around, and look forward to meeting you guys!

Best Ridings In The County!

Hey Luke, how did you get banned from SF. I started there in 03 but have since not shown too much interest in the site. I got a kick out of you catching up to Mr. slowpoke Offshore 24 last year in the county.

I called out EFP for crashing his sled instead of getting hit by an out of stater (who ironically wasnt registered, nor was his group of 4-5 with him)

I ended up being right as he admitted to it on msn one day.

Sites gone down the crapper Ive found, Im not on forums that much anymore, just to check stuff out, Ive been frequenting vehicle forums at cars/trucks im looking at purchasing.

I was planning on going about a full day without gassing up that day, and Once I saw offshore I knew I had to get him, wed been talking of meeting up beofre.

I whipped it around,my buddies looked at me like I was retarded, I held up a finger, and nailed it, I burned about 1/8 tank catching up to him and making noise. When he finally pulled over, we could barely hear each other talk, none of us shut our sleds down.

Good time nonetheless.

You guys planning on coming up another day? Id make an effort to tag along just for a quick ride to lakeview or soemthing, maybe buy you old guys lunch or something.

Your a mod? thats kinda cool, whos the admin over here?

This site is run by massholes.

They're not that bad, once you get over the smell.

I'd still be out on the trail if the "kids" didn't wait for me.

If they groom it, we will come.

Since yo get kicked out of every site you visit, you might just get kicked out of here too. JK. Thankfully, EFP = brp4life hasn't found this site yet. It would be nice to keep it that way.

Most everyone who ride's ME ride's The County I think. Tynan and I have a number of trips up there. In thepast I've gone at least three saddlebag trips a year. Recently I've been spreading out and riding Jacktown, Moosehead, and Island Falls. Snowgo666, his BIL and Sister have been kind enough to let me tag along on their Feb vacation trips. We always have a good time on those (except when it rains).

TeamYardsale, welcome to the site... If you'd like to get kicked out now, just let me know... it only takes a couple of mouse clicks. Although after Offshores comment, he may be the first one to get the boot. I do wish we lived in Maine, but we have our reasons for being down here... we have land in Maine and could move that way if we wanted to, but it's best for us to stay down here.... for now...

Just a joke and in reading your response in the flood thread I think it was in bad taste. I apologize and wish you the best in your recovery. I am sure Steve and I will have to make it up there at least once this year.

If we have another winter like last year, we're going to have to ride that entire state from York to Ft Kent!

Nope a full set and as I said nice assets and the right attitude. She wasn't the potato blossum queen, but pretty close.

Exactly righ, our harvest vacation is what alot of kids rely on for winter money, and its set at least 2 weeks later then it should be this year. Plus, the potato beetle sucked this year, as it was so wet we couldnt get in to spray.

Dont worry about me, I dont need you getting all soft and touchy with me now.

280" is suspected this year, thats nuts. Globle warming my ass.

Steve, no matter what we are doing that this year. We start at the bottom and ride up to Fort Kent. I am in. Spur of the moment whatever, it is done.

If we could get someone to bring a rig up so we could drive back that would be awesome. Otherwise we're looking at riding up and then halfway back to get home. Probably have to rent a Uhaul somewhere and deadhead it back to Portland to get home. I'm sure we can arrange to get dropped in York County. Uhaul must be available in Houlton.

Hey Ty,

Jersey is in Maine!!! Sitting on the shores of Sabasticook listening to the loons and reading all this crap about outta staters! LOL! Heck I've been coming back to Maine now at least four times a year for the last 44 years, I've got more seniority than most of the guys writing that outta stater crap.

The tax collector here likes me too, especially when I write checks to pay my taxes!

That's a great idea! Your bro could pull a trailer up to Bridgewater, we could meet there on our way north, and we could ride up to FK and back to Bridgewater.

Day 1 York County to somewhere about Sebago Lake. Day 2 Somewhere about Augusta. Day 3 somewhere about Bangor. Day 4 Bridgewater/Houlton. Day 5 FK. Day 6 Bridgewater and home.

It's the south part of the trip that's a bugger. Might only make 60 miles in a day with the trail system, small poorly maintained, little grooming, barely signed, never been on them. Once you get north of Augusta it's haul a s s time. Need lots of snow though.

Ty,

The bite is way off! The best we did is a three pounder the wife caught. It hit my spinner bait and I missed it (no trailer hook). I had the wife cast her fat rap in red color back into where it was and it smacked her lure.

I guess all the rain is what has them off the bite. I sent my son and his girl down to Durham bridge to fish the incoming channel drop offs this morning with texas rigged worms, they're not back yet so many that's where they're schooling up.

I beat the rocky shoreline to death this week and no big ones at all. in fact, if I make one more cast i think I'll tear the rest of my rotator cuff! LOL!

I can't wait until Monday and I see the surgeon, three Advils and 1/2 a percocet ain't making it no more, not when it's my casting and primary sled steering arm!

Well I am sure the part about spending time with the family is making the trip worthwhile. My wife and I fished the surf last night in RI. I caught she didn't but she still had a great time just being there.
