Well I guess I'll start this forum up... I'm Eric. I founded and created sledXtreme for several different reasons but the main reason being I wanted a site where snowmobilers can come and find all of the relevant information they need in one place. I don't know about you but I jump between 4 different snowmobile forums and 3 other sites and countless club sites to check on weather and trail conditions. Not to mention all of the club webcams. I thought it would be so useful if I could find all of that information in one place so that's why I started up this site.
So a little bit about me..... I'm 25 years old living in Cambridge, MA. I'm happily married to my wife Melissa and have a 19 month old son. I really got into snowmobiling when I was in my young teens when I'd go over to a friends house who had one. When I was 15 I bought my first sled and it was an Artic Cat. Following that beast of a sled I got first ski-doo and haven't had anything but ski-doo since. I currently have an 04 MXZ Adrenaline 600HO which I just picked up this summer. I do most of my riding up in Rangeley, ME with my father-in-law and unfortunately it hasn't been the best of winters so I'm still waiting to really to that sled to some use!!! I also have a BA in Computer Engineering but graduated at the wrong time. At the time I was searching for jobs the only offers I was getting would have just barely covered the cost of day care for our soon to be son. So I opted to be a stay at home dad and I do web design and programming when I have the chance.
