PD Road in Sherman

There is an active logging operation using the PD road in Sherman for this season. Please stay off the road during the week, or pass at your own risk. During the weekends there will be little or no logging and regular riding can commence. Please YIELD to any logging equipment you find, and remember the road is PLOWED.

The woods road that is off RT 2/ Island Falls rd. Its beside the field where the drag races used to be.

Ah, Ok I know that road well. If you take that in a little ways and then go straight where it turns hard right, theres a real neat lake down there. Ive been in there with the kayak fishing. Theres a Huge Eagles Nest in a large pine tree on one of the islands. Would like to see snowmobile drags. Never have. Thanks

There is a lot of riding in and off those roads. You could ride all day in there if you wanted to. I would like to have a poker run in there and have all the stops be on a different pond. There are enough in there to do that.

Ya, I agree...Lots of great riding in there. Have mapped a lot with the gps. Many new ones created over the summer and many older ones flooded out by beavers. Poker Run sounds like a Blast!! Never did a poker run on a sled. Heading back up next week. Cant Wait!! Hope the trails have melted too bad yet. I'll be breaking in my new track!!
