I all, my name is Brent. I live in Plaistow, NH but spend most of my sled season weekends in Jackman, ME were my father, brother and I have a camp. We are a Yamaha family for sure, we all have 4 stroke sleds now. I got my 1st ride in this season on the day after Thanksgiving and the most recent was feb 4.

I actually invited him to join on board... :-D Glad to see you showed up. I think Brent takes some of the best snowmobiling pictures and I'll be adding a couple that I think are just simply amazing shortly!! They'll be rotating on the homepage hopefully by the end of the week :-D I have to finalize a new feature in which you'll be able to upload images directly into ones photo album while posting a message. I think it'll be an extreme unique feature.

So was this weekend riding in jackman?? How were the trails? I'm thinking I need to find someplace to ride on the weekend of the 18th...

We had a hard ride up to Jackman friday night. We got a late start from the get go and then had a tire blow on the trailer we were pullin up normally we don't trail but a friend use the trail and it needed to get back up north. A couple of the studs were just spinning in the hub and we didnot have many tools so he had to limp back to a frinds house to fix it and then got going again. We didn't get into Jackman till after 1am.
We got alate start on saturday for riding but were able to get about 100 miles in during the afternoon. I sure there will be some good riding up there after the cold sets in. But there will be alot of thin spots inbetween. I'm up to Canada to do the Gaspe loop on saturday for a week. I should be putting about 1800 miles on this trip and I can't wait.

must relate to the number of pics you take during a season. I know me personally I take close to 100 pics per day of good riding which is about 200 miles. If you're putting on around 2-5k miles a season that's a 1000-2500 pics.... but I think luck still has something to do with it cause you've come up with some awsome shots!!!!

I agree, the more pics you take the better chance you have of getting a good one. But taken somany you also get an idea of what makes a better pic, ie background, framing the subject with branchs or the like, and lighting also makes a big differance.

I learned in class that out of every hundred pics you may get 2 that are really good. Your right the more you take the more you understand what works. Snow presents certain problems when dealing with the lighting also. Mush harder to get a quality pic when the sun is reflecting all over the place.
