[Site Mod] New Photo Album/Avatar Feature

I just added a new feature that allows you to select an image within your Personal Gallery to be your avatar. Simply go to the [url=http://www.sledxtreme.com/album.php:3e8ec]Photo Album[/url:3e8ec] and then go into Your Personal Gallery and if you have images in there you can click on the link "Set as Avatar" just below the image and it'll become your avatar :-D

I'll also be adding a few other features to uploading avatars but that'll be down the road a bit :-D

Does this site automatically resize our pics we upload or do we have to??

automatically resized them... There is a limit on the size of the image but it's pretty large. Most digital pictures are within this limit so it's not a problem. The script automatically resizes the image to a max of 800 pixels on the long side I believe. There is a custom BBCode exclusivly for photo album images which will display a smaller thumbnail in the post. Each image has it's own BBCode it it's image details. And finally the last handy feature of our photo album. You can upload images while posting... Simply click on the Upload to our Photo Album link below the Message Body text box and it'll allow you to upload up to 10 images at a time. Once the upload completes the BBCode for those images is automatically inserted into your msg body. Pretty handy!!!

That answers that. I like being able to upload pics and not have to re-size them. I know it's easy, but I hate doing it!

yup that's why i added this feature... make it easier... i know so many ppl hate to resize them. Maybe down the line I'm going to consider allowing users to post images uploaded here on other site. We'll see about that though. It's an idea i'm just tossing around in my mind.
