Man Weathermen have the best job ever... All they do is guess about what the weather is going to be... and then lie to everyone... Earlier this week they said that we wouldn't see a substantial snowfall for quite some time.. Now there's a chance for a Nor'easter this weekend....

It has been a long time since I drew one of these. The last significant East Coast storm happened way back in December. In January, everyone saved money on heating costs, but those who enjoy a good old fashion snowstorm were terribly disappointed by all the mild weather. Everything has changed now, and here is the evidence to prove it. A big storm will swirl up the Eastern Seaboard this weekend dumping heavy snow from northern Virginia to southern New England. More information on this major weather event will follow throughout the day.

With each tick of the clock, it becomes increasingly evident that the Northeast will be subjected to a major snowstorm this weekend. This graphic shows the storm track, and where the worst of the storm will occur. Ground zero will probably extend from northern Virginia to New England, where the storm could dump up to a foot of snow. As you can see, I have shifted a few lines but not much has changed since the earlier report. AccuWeather.com will bring you the latest as it becomes available. Friends and relatives back in Newtown, Connecticut, get ready! I think you will need more than a shovel for this one. Fresh information will follow right up until storm time, including updated snowfall maps. Stay online with AccuWeather.com for the latest.

Lets just say I'll believe it when I see it.

well down here in the boston area we've been moved into a blizzard warning... Yup that's right. We're gonna get 8-12+ and winds of 20-25mph with gust up to 40mph. Should make for an interesting day on sunday. It's too bad it's all down here in the south... it should be further north :-(

I wish i could send this snow north!!! Where we currently are we're going to get upwards of 20" they say.... And major drifting on top of that. Looks like I'll have some fun tomorrow with the snowblower. Such a shame that it's all down here and not up in sled country.

wish thre were trails though cambridge... and that I had my sled down here. It's at the in-laws in Kennebunk... Wouldn't mind taking a spin this evening... guess it's not happening though :-( It's too bad as we've got a ton of snow too... I'd say there is atleast 18" if not more... I'll have to try and find a place where it hasn't drifted or where I didn't snow blow and get a measurement......
