I had them on my 04 REV... I adjusted them to block the wind, I had one come loose on a trip and man did that hand get might cold with the way the wind flows over those REVs. If you have a full windshield they may not be needed, but I had the x windshield.... if you want to call it that.

I like the looks of the lower windshield, but want protection from the wind and small objects from hitting my hands...like brush or snow and ice from other sleds.

I like the integrated quards on the rev mid windshields. If I went to a lower windshield I would be worried about branches hitting me in the nuckles. They hurt enough on the arms.

I've got an old man's windshield. Some call it a county windshield cause it keeps you warm when it's -20F in The County. Don't need em if you stay stock, IMO.

Ive had a set over acerbis on my wheelers, and a set of powermad on my 600. Liked em' think the powermads are a little pricey because of all the kids that buy them to look cool, I expecially like them for ice/snow chunks.
Worth the money if you have a small windshield or ride the woods, not worth it if your a trail rider who is fine as is,
