ok first i have to say i take back everything negative i said about the looks

but a quick intro 1100 cc twin 4 stroke but its only 123 hp and 575 lbs

good news is they explanded on rider select concept and everything is adjustable (handle bars, windshield, seat, and foot wells)

now jag has always been an entry level sled so pure speculation makes me hope that this isnt the largest hp coming from this sled and will also assume there will be other chassis varations with this engine maybe a sport and crossover as it is now its a solo touring http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=165370

Like others have said the HP sounds a little small for such a heavy sled.

intersting sled they've got... Gotta give them an effort for trying. Some unique options there... adjustable seat and windshield. But like Tynan said... looks little weak on the HP side.

well i agree but my 660 is the same weight and only 110 hp so i think i ll adjust fine.. cats pretty accurate with their info so i think when it comes time to get real world weights they wont be as bad

and im wondering if and when they release the rest of the line up if they wont have a more stripped down version with out all the adjustable stuff that will trim the weight down but i cant wait to see

so you're gonna get rid of your 660 already?

no definitely not yet i was planning to buy an 07 but the z1 isnt what i was looking for

ideally i wanted a crossfire with a 130 hp range 4 stroke but ill sacrifice a few hp for the chassis i want

i ll never need more than 140 hp so i have no use for the apex and mach killer that most cat guys are hoping for and to be completely honest i dont even care if the make it i mean it would be exciting for a whole minute or two till the novelty wore off but then reality would set in and i would remember i wouldnt buy it anyway and could careless whos faster

anywho back to the thought at hand...

i was planning on getting an 07 if i got some stuff paid off and got a little ahead so i can actually ride next year but now im thinking if i can get some stuff paid off and have money to ride i might just keep the 660 for another season and see what kind of mileage i can get on it i got the sled in feb.04 but last year was the only real riding i got to do on it so its just barely broken in ...

basicly i just want a longer track and rider forward otherwise i would probably keep my 660 till it died cause the thing rocks

i thought i was pretty attached to my zl 600 till i got the 660 then i was like what 600? im sure it will be the same when i get a new one its easy to reattach myself at will to the new ride

I was just looking out the back window at my sled sitting there all shiny cause of the rain and thought maybe I should keep it. But I really want a Gade or Crossfire. It seems there are a bunch still sitting at some of the local dealers that could be leftovers later on in the year.

try and find yourself a leftover gade X... that would be a great steal... I bet there will be quite a few leftovers after this winter. I'm contemplating about adding a track extension on my sled for the future.... I really liked the long track. I'll have to get a good seasons riding in first before I truely decide.

I have been looking at the Gade X's that is what I want. I really want a Black one but it seems I can only find the yellow and black.

The black one is just a Gade and the Yellow is the X.

definitely go with an X if you can find one... so much better than a reg. gade... if you can only find the yellow and black it's not a big deal... You can buy new side pannels and bumper to swap out most of the yellow for only a couple hundred. The panels on the REVs are pretty cheap.

do you want to go with aleft over or a used one??? I know a couple of dealers in central NH that usually have a pretty good selection of Xs... i'll see if they have anything.

New or used it doesn't matter. Check it out and let me know. Don't know what the difference is in years but this one looks better.

in 06 they lowered the ride hight and changed from the precision skis (junk on REVs) to the pilot skis. I'm not too sure about the other changes though... i don't think there was anything else major.

yeah the lower ride hight is an amazing change... I couldn't believe it but when i jumped on my buddies sled earlier this season for a qucik spin I could tell the difference... I'll check the two dealers i know usually have a good stock and see if they've got any.

Try giving [url=http://www.billericamotorsports.com/default.asp:212d3]Billerica Motorsports and Marine[/url:212d3] a call... On their site they say they've got an 800 Gade X.... The other dealers that usually have Xs don't have any Gade Xs
