From Channel 13;
SNOWMOBILE FATALS
A pair of weekend snowmobile accidents in northern Maine has each claimed one life. The Maine Warden Service says 40-year-old William Hasey of Glenburn was killed Friday night when his snowmobile crashed through the ice on Moosehead Lake just north of Rockwood. Hasey's 18-year-old son, William Junior, also crashed into the water but managed to survive. The second accident took place around 12:15 Saturday morning in the Aroostook County town of Saint Agathe. Wardens say 48-year-old Marc Cloutier of Lewiston was killed when his machine went off the trail and hit a tree. Warden Sergeant Tom Ward said Cloutier was traveling at a high rate of speed. The accident remains under investigation. The two deaths follow a Friday morning crash in Rangeley that took the life of 18-year-old Douglas White of Durham. Maine's snowmobile death toll for the season now stands at six.
