:)Hello just looking around the site. How long has this site been up?
We just put the site up last night (27 November) around midnight. We have not even been online for one day yet. We put a lot of work and time into creating this site. We don't know how to get word out about the site without logging onto others sites and making post in forums. We feel that is kind of tacky for the owners of this site log onto other sites and make posts saying "check out the new snowmobile site at www.mainesledder.com (http://www.mainesledder.com)". We are trying to re-frame from doing that. So for now we are hoping that users like you will log on and spread the word. We think and hope that once people have logged onto this site and looked around the site and get the feel of it they will like it a lot better then other forums. That is our hope anyway.

Thank you. But we did not do it for us. Sure we will get some satisfaction from it. But we did if for you the snowmobilers. This is your site. They way we look at it is that it was made for you all not for use. We put it together for you all. We just thought that this forum software was a lot better then what we have been seeing used on other sites and we promise to keep it up to date and keep this running smoothly along with very little to no advertisements like other site. We also promise no pop-ups adds. We added a photo gallery and a chat room for your convenience. If there is anything else we can do just let us know. We want to stay active on this site. We are not the type to put a web site online and just let it run itself.

I'm new to this site, just followed the link that Maine Sledder left at SledMaine. I've had this username for over 1 year now, was surprised to see someone else using it. We do all our riding in Maine.

Start in Lewiston/Auburn and go from there for the day with the kids, head for Leeds and points north.

That is not to far from me. Where do you usually start from there? I am usually around the Sabattus area riding when I ride locally.
I have a goal to someday head up the Power lines on the ITS in Lewiston and go to Rangeley. I have never been that far out on the power lines yet.

We stay at the Ramada and go from their back door. We also rent a cabin at Sebago Lake in Standish and ride the trails there.

If you can get over to ITS 89 in Jay, Rangeley is about two hours rolling along at a brisk pace

I heard about this site from my riding buddies...gtman700 and BIRDMAN.
Its nice to have a site dedicated to riding in the great state of Maine, and I am looking forward to visiting it often.
