Rockabema Snow Rangers
Patten,Northern Maine
Grooming 120 miles of trail thru 10
townships and two counties in the Katahdin region

Groomers are working on all Rockabema trails to get ready for the big presidents day vacation week.
ITS 81 from Sherman Station through Patten, up to Shin Pond is in good shape and will be groomed tonight.
ITS 81/85 from Shin Pond (PT18) north to the Camp Violett road is in good shape and is being groomed regularly.
*Note; The logging operation on the north end of the Snowshoe road is still ongoing. PLEASE SLOW DOWN, stay right, and be prepared to meet very large logging trucks.
ITS 85 from the 85/83 junction (PT14), just west of Sherman Station, will be groomed tonight and will be in real good condition.
Connector trail 112 east from 2 miles north of Patten to the junction of 112 and club trail 62 was groomed wednsday along with club trail 62 from Hersey township up through the Rockabema and Pleasant lakes region to ITS 81/85 north of Shin Pond.
Connector trail 112 west from Patten (Big Sebois connector) will be groomed tonight and as always is flat as a flounder.
*Note; There is a short section of new trail near the logging operation about two miles west of Patten that still is rough. Go slow !
Club trail Scenic 81a was groomed wednsday and will be a good oppertunity to see the sights from Kimball hill. This trail is narrow and winding in some sections and has a couple of wetholes to go around so take it easy.
Club trail 64 from 81 to the Ackley pond road (pub trail) was also groomed wednsday night and is in good shape.
With the super base we have on our system, all we need is some new snow to help with track lubrication, which according to the weather forcast, we should be getting in the form of continual flurries for the next few days.
