Saw these links on a couple different sites recently and thought they were both pretty interesting... the first one is an Eagle in Maine... the 2nd is in Vancouver... of course it needs to be daytime in order to see them :-P lol

I would rather see them eating a few deer carcasses.

actually snagged that on our Madawaska Trip... I usually don't think of snapping pics of wildlife when on the trails... usually i see a couple deer or moose, but since i'm leading i try and make sure everyone else stops and sees it before i think about snapping pics. Those carcasses were actually dumped in that location right on the river bank, i think to spefically feed the eagle.

I wish we had a telephoto lens to get a really cool shot. A night shot of those moose in the moonlight would have been cool also.

Here's another one on the Conn River in Turners Falls Mass, my aunt has a camp on the river 1/2 mile from the nest, occasionally we will see them flying around, magnificent birds.http://www.nu.com/eagles/default.asp

Turners falls is aboput 20 minutes from me down rt. 2. You can park at Bartons Cove and see the eagles. Sometimes when we would icefish in that area they are circling above.
