I live in Dixmont, just a little south of Bangor. I do very little riding around here. The area clubs are great, but I have been spoiled riding in the county. Five of us got together this year and are renting a house on Long Lake in Sinclair for the winter. We figured with the price of gas and all if we had a place to just leave our sleds and gear we could all ride up together in a car. At least thats how I convinced my wife it was a good idea.

That is a great way to do it, renting the house. You will enjoy it as long as you get along with the others. Not a bad drive at all from bangor to sinclair.
County is great but from here in Winthrop I can be in souther Quebec very easily and less crowds then jackman and better trail conditions.

It will either make you best of friends, if you weren't already, or enemies!
Think of it as 2 1/2 months of hunting camp!

We all get along pretty well. It only amounts to four or five days every other week, and we all work together but in different places with the same rotating schedule. Not to mention the four other guys are really easy to get along with, no big egos. That is, except for me.
