Anyone got any exciting plans for the long weekend??? Today we're going to a pool party are our neighbor's parents place.... should be a good time consider our son loves water. This will be his first time in a pool though... as for the rest of the weekend not too sure. I know we're catching the fireworks someplace on the 4th.... I forget where the wife wanted to go... lol... :)

I am stuck at work all weekend. I have to work 6am-10pm on Monday and then 2nd shift on Tues. This sucks. 3 more work days and then I am on vacation down the cape for a week.

Well I got to see some fire works on Saturday over the Lake... Had a good time with the family... Had plenty of food so that made it even better... I am working today (the 4th) but not complaining I get payed 26 hrs for working 12 (oh and I had the last 4 days off too... Any way have a safe and fun 4th every one...

Watched excellant fireworks at a concert with some local country singers headlined by Trace Adkins. I don't really listen tomuch to country but they were great fireworks. I was BLITZED to say the least. My ssister had to drive us back from the show! Last night we saw fireworks in one of the local villages that we go to every year. We always used to say they were the best for the free fireworks. This year they chaged $2 each. no bigie I guess, but good fireworks. The babies 21 months and she loved them! The older one, 6, was a nervouse nelly. She kept worring they were going to land on her. they were close, but rest assured daddy was there for her.

On another forum I'm a member of some of the members in CA were seeing prices of $40/car for fireworks!

Yeah, no kidding. I had to laugh...no one had a response when I asked why they didn't just park down the street instead of paying, lol.
