My family current has Klim Boots, Skidoo jackets and bibs, Cabelas technical base layering and a optional layering of Cabelas Polartec 200 (didn't have to use the fleece much last year).

I am thinking about changing my bibs to Klim pants. Anyone else use Klim?

All of my gear is Polaris Brand. I went to the dealer and tried everything on. I then went on ebay and bought it half price.

I always layer, long johns :) and AC outerwear. Been thinking about getting a new set of Klim outerwear. Some of my riding buddies swear by it for their outerwear.

Wear my Long John's ever trip, temps change to quick for us not to. Course we cancel rides at 15 below.

I like my skidoo jacket, it is a bit heavier than I'd like but it works well. I have a set of choko bibs which I do not like. Seriously thinking about the Klim. We do trail riding so I was just wondering if the layer approach of the Klim system would work for me or not. I am so used to insulated clothes I am just a bit hesitant to go with the outer layer something non insulated.

I have cat coat, liner, bibs and gloves. I wear altimate boots (think thats their name). I only wear normal jeans tshirt socks and crusties under the sled clothing. Never wear long underwear or heavy socks it just gets unbearably hot. Infact most of my last rides were done in a hoodie and regular jeans. I sometimes think my sled has a heater built in.

I like the looks of Klim myself. When I get a new sled I think I will get their gear. I also believe that you get what you pay for. Quality gear will keep you warm and dry. No sense skimping on clothing that could potentialy save your life.

And it just makes riding more enjoyable when your warm and comfortable. My wife use to hate going riding with me at anything below 20 above, but after I got her a warm and comfortable snowsuit and gear she goes no matter what the temps. Of course she says it's because her snow suit is purple :) wemems, shessss, last new sled I brought her was a purple Puma, not the sled I wanted to get her, but it was the only purple sled in stock, so she was happy....

Well everyone knows a yellow skidoo is faster than a black one!

I personally sport skidoo jacket, bibs and gloves.... underneath i typically sport warm up pants and a tshirt... Even on the coldest days the only additional layer will sweatshirt. Even then i usually take that off within an hour or two of starting the ride. As for my boots.... I forget the name of them but they're damn warm and definitely keep my feet plenty warm. :-D

OK I'm back.....

I have a CastleX CR2 jacket, Ski Doo Pants, CastleX Balclava, Rocky 900 gram boots (new this year!) and thats usually it. I am a very warm person so I only wear a t-shirt underneath.

I have a Polaris jacket and snowpants, CastleX Reactor boots, CastleX race gloves for the warmer days, a Tekvest (I advise everyone to INVEST in a tekvest for the protection and it REALLY helps keep the heat in), and a HJC openface helmet with blue SCOTT goggles. I don't like my snowpants because I bought them too small, they bind up and they don't fit around my boots. That was bad because on one cold day the lace hook on my boots punctured my seat and it only got worse from there. Thats ok though, the BOSS Highrise is on the way :D . I'm thinking about asking for some new outerwear for Christmas, I was thinking of CastleX but maybe I'll look into KLIM, since you guys are highly recommending it. As of right now, I think its time to go watch Slednecks 8 or BRAAAP 5.......again.
