Turkey Corner is about 3 miles from there. If youhave been to the top you have been to Turkey Corner.

If I remember correctly there is no warning the sign is right at the corner. I think you can only see the sign heading back to Rangeley. I don't think you see it heading out.

One year we were headed up this long stretch to get to the look out and a deer almost jumped over my buddies sled, he had to stop and freak out for a few! Lotsa deer around Oquossoc

Bald Mountain
I was up there a few years ago very nice view. One of the few times I didn't bring my camera it would have made for some sweet pics. defiantly want to get up there again.

I was just at the top of Bald Mountain last weekend. Fantastic Views! A short, rough, and slightly challenging ride but well worth it. Anyone who doesn't like dealing with a bit of rough trail and a challenge wouldn't like the ride to the top.

Which Bald Mountain? We got stuck just down from the top Saturday trying Boundry Bald in Jackman.

Most likely I can't see the sense in anyone attempting the other one alone.
