Can anyone recommend a good weekend cabin anywhere around Moosehead? Looking for a place just for two that might also have a restaurant and pub for dinner and drinks after a long day.:)
Thanks

How set are you on a cabin? I ask because if you want a place to sleep and will get up and go to eat then you can get a nice motel room for cheap and go downtown to eat.
You could also go to a bed and breakfast. You get a much more comfortable bed and obviously breakfast.
We have stayed at Indian Hill Motel and Evergreen Lodge B&B. Bith are nice, one is less expensive than the other.
Please check the Town of Greenville website as they have a list of businesses.

Hope this helps

I am not sure how many rooms Moosehead Motel have left for rental. Dick has been renovating the rooms and selling them as condos. At some point I believe that there will be no more rental rooms. I could be wrong, and I hope so as there are not a lot of places left up here in Rockwood to stay.
