is the News Feed forum worth it? I kinda liked hte idea initially but now after seeing what gets posted there I'm not too sure... seems like most of the posts are about snowmobiler deaths. Is that all that ever makes the news for snowmobiling? Pretty sad if you ask me. Let me know your thoughts and we'll go from there.

I voted yes, but you might consider a source other than Google.

Seems deaths are about all Google gives ya on snowmobiles.

Do you know of any other good new source feeds?

Why didn't I think of this before... I'll keep the google news feeds source but I'll just make sure to have it exclude the word death from the search. :-D

ETA - Ok... I've made it so that just about anything related to fatal crashes or death have been removed... Should help clear it up some. I also think I'm going to adjust it to only post new messages once a day rather than several times thoughout the day.

I just find myself clearing the unread posts from that forum.

I don't really pay much attention to it. But the headlines are (were) pretty negative.

yeah I think my new filter for it will help out a lot... I did remove most of the negative keywords so hopefully we can get some more positive threads in there now. It was to the point where I was ignoring it as well that's why I started this thread.

Do you know of any other good new source feeds?

I use newsisfree.com, it's $20 a year or so but I like what I get not only for the RSS feeds but as a personal news source.

but can anyone read it or do you have to be a subscriber to read it??

What I like about it is you have 1 subscriber, the person setting up the RSS, then it's free to anyone who follows the links.

I have it on FST http://www.fairnet.org/Agencies/FST/PHPBB/viewforum.php?f=28 Some of the posts are Google as I use both in my news feed.
