Is there any good riding to be had other then the far north area of the county right now? I am thinking of trailering to the Rangeley area this weekend.

I went out riding today and it was a mixed bag of conditions. Most of the system is 3" of powder on top of 4" of ice. Many thin spots and several washouts that aren't completely frozen. Also, there is plenty of fallen branches, trees and holes on the trails. 6 inches would make the trails decent and 12 inches will make it great.

Well then maybe I will hold off on riding this weekend then. That stinks.

Here in the Skowhegan area there isn't any decent riding. The snow all went away when it rained and then we got 3 or 4 inches of light snow. Go out around here and you will find every rock there is. *sigh*

Is it ever going to snow or has spring arrived early? LOL

It is that way here too pretty much. So I will not be doing any riding around here.

I was thinking of going there but I am undecided now after looking at the Rangeley web cam. Who are you heading up with, what time do you plan on putting in at and what direction are you heading.

Changed my mind -Sidesaddle got a report, with warm temps this weekend, trails are junk, lake is open in places, will hold out for now
