I was just wondering if anyone had any updates on snow/trail conditions around this area? I'm thinking of heading up to Greenville early next week but I can't seem to find any trail reports. Thanks!

I believe tynan19 and offshore24 were up in that region this weekend... hopefully when they return they'll give us an update.

Alright, that sounds good. So far i've heard from someone that was up there last week that the riding was good and they've received more snow since then.

Go to sledmaine.com and click the "Trail Reports" link on the left side of the page. You can then choose from about any region in Maine to find trail conditions/reports

I do frequent that website but it sometimes seems like it doesnt get updated all that often. The Greenville link hardly ever gets updated. Maybe they'll pick up with all the new snow.

Well.... I just got back from Greenville.. I dont recommend riding anywhere out of there. There was lots or water crossings, mud and plowed roads. We rode a few miles of plowed roads from Greenville heading to Kokadjo. Once we got to Kokadjo we went to NE Carry which was pretty near mint. Then from there we went to Pittston Farms which was mint then down to Rockwood which was also near mint. From Rockwood to Greenville it started getting a little rough and some mud and water. Then we hit another section of plowed logging roads.
Today it was 50 degrees at 10am when we left Greenville, all driveways and parking lots were right down to the pavement.
Some friends of mine went to Jackman and they said it was mint up there but I dont know how much the warmth hurt them. I'd get some trusting trail reports before I headed anywhere right now.

Just saw this. I was in Fort Kent for the weekend. Last year Eric and I rode from Jackman to Pittstons and then rode around the entire lake and back. Greenville had the worst conditions. I don't bash trail systems but it is not the clubs fault but since it is a popular area there is going to be harder access for them to work with. Coming into town from Kokadjo by the B52 site there is all the plowed roads. Leaving town heading towards Rockwood it is was all whoops for miles. You fiqure Rockwood, NE Carry and the Farm have all perfectly flat terrain to work with and no populations to deal with.

We hit plowed logging roads even on the west side of the lake from Greenville to Rockwood. We rode that for a mile or 2. On the east side of the lake Scammon Rd had a good 3 miles + worth of plowed road. Theres 2 new log cabins that were built there this past year and the last cabin seems to be used year round so now the road is plowed. You can't even think of getting up on the snow banks and they even sand the road, ahhh..., I love the smell of burning hyfax in the morning. That used to be a flat and fast section all the way out to the kiosk where the B52 trail splits off.
