Welcome aboard. We'll be re-opening the trail conditions section in a bit... We hope to have a lot of club and member input so it'll be a great resource for all riders. Hopefully you'll be willing to contribute ;)

Well if I can beet the freezing rain that is coming in tomorrow I have reservation at Katahdin Cabins. The freezing rain is one factor. The other major one is me waking up and heading out before the rain comes. I work second shift and it is very hard for me to get up earlier then 11 in the morning.

If all works well and I do go I will have to give my report on the cabins and the trail report.

Weather is great up here. We got no rain at all. We just got back from a night ride. I am trying to fix my sled now with no luck. The recoil pulled out and will not retract.

Skip the owner of the place is an awesome guy. I will defiantly come back here again. I wish he was up now so I could borrow a pair of pliers. I think that is all I need. I need to get the springs off my exhaust to I can get to the recoil behind it.

Well I need to get back out and hopefully the exhaust has cooled down enough for me to try working on it again.

Metal coat hangers work well on the springs. I guess you got it fixed judging by your report.

Actually I did not get it fixed. I ended up using the emergency pull cord in my tool kit for the rest of the weekend. This involved wrapping a pull cord around the outside of the clutch and pulling starting it. It is a good thing my sled starts easy.
