I need to make a decision here real soon.
Do we want to keep this web site going or close it down. Let me share my reasoning for starting it and then maybe others can help me decide on what to do.
Nothing against the Sled Maine web site or the administrator when I say this because I am just using this to help explain what I started this web site.
For a long, long time the administrator of the Sled Maine web site would not update his forum software and it was over a year out dated or longer. I personally posted on the web site asking if he would please update it so that we the end users could take advantage of some of the new options like the "read new post" option and many more options. None of my posts ever were responded to. I would follow up with posts asking over and over again with no response.
So with that all taken into consideration I decided to open this web site with the forum software I am very familiar with and I could keep it updated because I use this forum software with my other three web sites.
As soon as I put this web site online the administrator of the Sled Maine web site updated his forum software. If he had answered my posts and done that in the first place then I would never of had to put this web site online.
With the few individuals we have here on this web site we have seemed to have become a tight knit community. I really hate to take it down, but the issue is purchasing the forum software. It is up for renewal and if it is not going to get used then I can not see paying for the renewal fee.
What does everyone else seem to think about this. I would like to here from others.
