Do you have a facebook account?

Our forum script is due for an update quite soon and we're thinking about adding a feature we're you can integrate your account here with your facebook account. So we're curious how many users here have facebook accounts?

I tried that at another site. It was a disaster. Couldn't log onto either site after i linked. So I'm no longer linked. $0.02.

Just make sure you can have a choice of linking or not. I use different passwords for different accounts and that lead to problems being linked.

linking the accounts would be optional, and for existing users it wouldn't change the username, email or password. New users who register would be able to simply select a username and use the facebook email and password, or set their own. Also if you're logged into facebook, and you visit our site, you can enable an option where you are automatically logged in, even if your password on the two sites don't match.

I'm starting to build a facebook page for mainesledder and thought that it would be nice way of bridging the two sites since facebook gives us the ability to do so.
